Interim
Minister, Rev. Lee Devoe came to us from Ottawa, Canada where she was
an associate minister of an almost 600 member Unitarian congregation. Prior to
Ottawa she served eight years as the first professional minister at an Idaho
Falls UU Fellowship where she was often the lone voice of a liberal religious
leader in an ultra-conservative region. While in Idaho, Lee also served as a
bereavement counselor at a hospice center. Rev. Devoe will be with UUCC until we
call our settled minister in 2008.

Minister Rev.
Calvin Dame was at UUCC from 1986 to 2006 (Previous minister)
Rev. Calvin Dame who served UUCC for 20 years, retired from UUCC
on April 30, 2006. As a congregation UUCC has just entered into the Transition
Phase which will lead us to calling a new minister in the fall of 2008. Calvin
has allowed us to post his final UUCC-Augusta
sermon,
"Life's Mysteries" . We are fortunate to have our Ministerial Intern,
Peter Friedrichs, with us until June. This fall we will begin a relationship
with an Interim Minister.
Ministerial Intern, Peter Friedrichs was at UUCC from 2004 to 2006

world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” Margaret Mead

Masters of Divinity degree from Andover Newton Theological School in May of
2006. To learn more
