        Welcome to our Spiritual Home!

There has been a either a Universalist or a Unitarian Church in Augusta, Maine for 178 years. Our first settled minister was Rev. William Ford in 1828!   In 1965 the two churches voted to consolidate and become one congregation.  Our roots run deep in this small city on the Kennebec River.  We are a liberal religion with a deliberately inclusive congregation.

A banner on the side of the church declares, 'Love, not fear, practiced here.'  Come visit. Sit for a spell. We'd love to meet you!
